NBC cancels 3 shows wit a diverse group of plus talent.



    In a surprising turn of events, NBC has recently announced the cancellation of three beloved shows from their lineup: "Young Rock," "Grand Crew," and "American Auto." Fans of these series were left disappointed and shocked by the network's decision to pull the plug on these promising shows. "Young Rock," a comedy-drama based on the life of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, offered a unique and heartfelt glimpse into the actor's formative years. Its cancellation comes as a disappointment to fans who were eagerly following the humorous and inspiring journey of young Dwayne. Similarly, "Grand Crew," a sitcom centered around a group of friends navigating life and relationships in Los Angeles, brought laughter and relatability to viewers. The cancellation of this charming and diverse show is disheartening news for fans who had grown attached to its vibrant characters and witty storytelling. Kenan's Double Duty 2022

 



        A lot of you may not know that Kenan Thompson and Chris Redd pull double duties on two primetime shows on two different coasts on the same network.  Kenan the sitcom is filmed in Los Angeles and Saturday Night Live is filmed in New York City.  Chris normally flies in two days before filming SNL and Kenan a day before.  The two worked together on two live skits together and one skit was recorded.  On another note, Aidy Bryant was not on the January 15th episode.  Hopefully, she will be on SNL next week.

SAG Awards 2022


     First congratulations to all of the nominees of the Screen Actors Guild Awards this year.  Here at Plustainment, we would like to give an extra special congratulation to Jennifer Coolidge and Jonah Hill.  Jennifer received a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series in "The White Lotus".  "Don't Look Up" received an Oustanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.  Jonah Hill held his own as part of a stellar cast that featured Leonardo Decaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, and Meryl Streep just to name a few. 

     The show will simulcast live on Feb. 27 on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
